First Three Years! |

April 22, 1999 is when I first found www.peternoone.com, after doing a web search! I was not very computer literate at the time, and the first thing I did was "ask Peter" a question, using my husband's email account. My question was, "will you be coming to the Detroit area soon?" The next day I got my answer! "How about Windsor Ontario? Isn't it near Detroit?" One month later I met Peter for the first time at the Casino Windsor! I also met my first Noonatic, LindaK! She told me to stick around after the show and Peter would come out, then I could meet him! So when he came out... I was the first one to greet him! Mostly all I said was "wow!" but I did manage to introduced myself. I got his autograph on my ticket stub, then had my picture taken with him! He remembered me from my emails, and said he wanted me to meet someone named Jan. For months I couldn't figure out why, or who was Jan, but later found out it wasn't Jan... it was Jana!

The next time I saw Peter was in December, 1999. He did a series of 9 concerts in 6 days at the Casino Windsor, and this time I was going to 3 shows! I got the "rhyming bug" while waiting for these shows (See Noonetime Rhymes)! On the first day, I took my sister Helen and my hometown friend Delores. Then I took a co-worker, and on Saturday I went with my husband. On the first show Peter came off the stage and kissed my sister on the cheek!! She's not even a fan! *hmpf!* On the second trip Peter finally realized who I was and said, "Oh, YOU'RE Eunice!!" Then he drew a mustache on the Glory Boys LP I gave him! After that he always knew who I was. |

Peter came back to Windsor in March, 2000. I was planning on going to 5 out of the 9 shows this time, but an unfortunate thing happened and I lost my job! I didn't mope around at home being "unemployed", NO! I took advantage of my time off and went to all 9 shows! Before the shows began, Peter did a live radio interview on an AM Oldies radio in Detroit - WPON. LindaK and I was fortunate to have been there during the whole thing! This was really cool because it was also broadcasted live on the web, and the chatters at peternoone.com were able to hear the whole thing while in chat! Noonatics from all over the US called in and talked to Peter during this hour long special! Our local TV station even had it on their morning and Noone News! The picture on the right is of Peter with "Crazy Al."

At another show that week Mo and I bought toy tambourines as a surprise! Our plan was to give them to all the Noonatics and keep them hidden until Peter sang "Leaning on the Lamppost." Then at the part when the song gets fast, we would bring them out and start playing them. Peter loved it!! He stopped the song and just laughed!! Mo autographed one of the tambourines with Davy Jones' signature and took it to him. He used it for several songs afterward, then tossed it to the back of the stage and it fell apart! After the show Peter stuck around and mingled with the Noonatics. We all had our tambourines autographed!! Then he posed for a group shot with all of us!
